La Vibria was founded in 2003 by a group of yongsters who wanted to learn new cultures and to work for tolerance and social intergration throughout the world. Ever since we have been growing, each time adding some new activities and project types, both on local and international level. Our main goal is facilitating youth mobility and, through this, promoting solidarity, tolerance, non formal and intercultural education to our society. We consult youth and organizations that desire to learn more about international mobility, about the opportunities to travel, work, volunteer in other countries, and means of financial support existing. Now we offer our services as a youth information point in Terrassa, where our headquarters is located in the Department of Youth of the City Hall, but also, on a weekly basis, in 3 small towns in the province of Barcelona. Apart from that, we organize workshops in the schools and other institutions. We are quite active in various actions of Erasmus Plus, hosting and sending european volunteers, participating and organizing training courses, youth exchanges and awareness rising campaigns on different topics that affect our youth. Among other activities, we organize language classes, as well as creative workshops for those youngsters that want to educate themselves in an informal and playful manner, or to meet people with the same interests.

Our aim groups are youth from 14 to 35 years old. We always pay special attention on youth with fewer opportunities, be it social obstacles, economic difficulties or cultural differences. We count with the help of both local and international volunteers. They are typically young people that share the values of our organization and want to immerse themselves in an international environment. La Vibria has a lot of expertise in youth work and we always tried to improve our skills in this field as it would not only benefit us as youth workers, but also the youth we offer our programs to. In the last 10 years the main focus of the organization has been enhancing non-formal and informal learning experiences four our youth and in the last few years we also tried to reach out to the rural communities in our region. We have many youth exchanges, trainings and workshops in our region where we work on improving

dialogue between people from different cultures, developing skills in conflict resolution and promoting tolerance, solidarity and non-discrimination in both urban and rural surroundings. Over the last years we have participated in and organized many training courses on various topics, each time improving and elaborating on their quality. The staff of La Vibria are, above all, professional, motivated and educated. We have received education in the areas of social work, youth work, social policy.
