“Apkabink Europa” is non-governmental organizations which work on the building of a civil society and establishing a rule of law in Lithuania. Our NGO is created to serves as a learning organization that gathers trainers, youth and social workers, youth policy makers, experts, and volunteers with different levels of competences to be actively involved in the creation of civic activities with European dimension and with benefits for their local communities. The objectives of the association:
– To cooperate and fight against racism, discrimination and corruption; – Integrate foreigners into local communities;
– To promote personal and professional development of young people;
– To foster creativity among young people;
– To promote member local administrations, offers counseling and information, organizes micro regional, national and international meetings;
– To involve people with fewer opportunities in international projects;
– To support and promote local initiatives;
– To cooperate and fight against racism, discrimination and corruption. An important objective is to promote actions and activities which will stimulate young people to develop a better life for them and their peers, raising awareness, help public institutions on specific issues regarding young people, developing partnerships on the field of Erasmus + and involving youth in rural life, promoting, supporting and rewarding youth.Our organization is working with people that are from emigrant background.
Our volunteers are assigned mentors in order to provide local help and support for long term emigrants and refugees. Our aims are to discuss all migration issues and to help emigrants being included in society. Furthermore we are working a lot with non-formal education and Erasmus+ programme.
“Apkabink Europa” spreads European awareness, promotes active citizenship, democracy and
fights against corruption. Our country is suffering from migration issues. Nowadays many young people choose living abroad mainly in western countries. The main reasons of it are higher living standard and high level of university education abroad. For the moment the entire Europe is facing problems with migrants from Asia. Our government is preparing laws and regulations in order to create suitable environment for emigrants and refugees. The team of “Apkabink Europa” is organizing training and exchanges which are aiming at straightening youth skills and competences, increase their capacity to get a better jobs and raising their awareness.
Our team is participating in national and international projects in Lithuania and abroad in order to be up to date with the new methods and create valuable partnerships in the field. We have strong experience not only in organizing training courses and youth exchanges, but as well conferences, flash mobs, language courses, cultural trips, voluntary projects, etc. Our organization always worked to boost all the major skills of our volunteers and youth workers. “Apkabink Europa” is also involved in various international trainings related to improving the quality of international projects and understanding the new tools of work. The key staffs involved in this application are highly experienced as trainers of non-formal education.
